@ZELDAFAN152 - It is but the first mission takes you back to 1943 (WW2) then continues the story present day. It ll all make sense if you play the Campaigne. It was pritty epic to play the first mission if you ve played Battlefield 1943... Good way to play out the story too.

@82ndProductions You should(don't have to) upgrade your graphics to a better one,I have an nvidia GTX 560 and it only costed me about 180+tax,you'd get great performance for the card,but oh if you don't like nvidia you can go for the 6870 or something like that.Anything other than a 4850 :).[Not trying to be assenine(however you spell it)]

Not sure about having to use the 8 ping power connector, but you DO need the 24 pin one (as usual). I have an 8 pin power connector in but im not sur eif it is needed.

Will have to do a bit more research. As for the Phenom, I think its a pretty good cpu.

As I have said to others . Bad Company 2 ain't good on most dual cores. Wasn't for me in the beta, but not sure now. Youtube some videos of games with the processor to see if it performs well

@82ndProductions wel i got 550 now and i can play BC2 maxed out 8x AA with a 4870... i get around 25-55 fps at 1680x1050 and i only ave 2g ram at the moment going to upgrade to 4 soon, do you think i ghould buy an asus formula IV (for £200) and get ddr3 ram(overall £300) or do you think i should just upgrade my processor and current ram to save money?

Well im not sure about that motherboard. Upgrading your mobo isnt going to do alot and buying an extra 2gb saves alot of money that you could spend on a new gpu - which is what REALLY boosts your performance and cpu if you want. ram isn't all that important and toms hardware did a bench test where slow ddr2 ram to fast ddr3 ram gave like 3fps increase - so defo not worth £300!!!! Keep your money and either save or buy something like a 5850/70.

Hmm, not really, i had an amd athlon 64 x2 6000+ 3.0Ghz before i upgraded to my phenom and it ran the game quite badly, but that was the beta. If you get the game and it lags, might be because of your cpu - but I don't know what gpu you have.

Your cpu is quite weak. You might want to consider upgrading that for playing this game. It runs great on quad cores, and quite horribly on most dual cores. Buy, it and see - I could be wrong :P

in the last level, BC squad blow the scalar weapon ( black weapon) with c4 and they didnt die or the plane. but the plane crashed. then the russian guy fight sweetwater for a Parachute. but then you kill him with a pistol IN AIR :D

the black weapon is the scalar weapon. you know, the one that explodes in the end that is blue. it a electro explosion. so....... it not a nuclear blast. i know cuz i got the game and finish the story mode. then in the end of the story mode, the bad company squad wnet to a plane and blow weapon with c4. it weird that they didnt die. but they went skydiveing and killed the russian guy who was fighting sweetwater with the parachute. the you kill him witha pistol in asir. sorry for spoiling

YES!

You will play it on very high. Though I suggest turning HBAO Off. That's what I do when I'm actually playing cause I dont think the visual gain is worth the performance loss. An extra 10fps with it off.
