@aceofspadesfoeca sorry to hear that :) matter of tastes, I believe. Few years has passed and I still like performances about this tempo over slower ones, crossing 4 minutes mark, in this particular piece.
@Maticomp alright, i hope i can hear the new ones(slower)
im working on this piece, about next week to my recital and still confused about many version of this piece :( this always happen when its op. posth. which is better bro? pls help me ( sry for bad english )
I think Lento is boring for this piece, I mean maybe he sped up and slowed down a little little tiny bit. But I enjoyed this much better than the guys who play it and its like 5 minutes
I'd like to learn this one some day but still haven't gotten around to starting on it. =X
I don't think I'd be able to play those fast runs up and down the keyboard near the end though, at least not at good tempo. I'm terrible with fast stuff hehe.
No. I've been self-taught for 2.5 years and have taken lessons for half a year before posting this video. I've been working on this particular piece for the whole time though. With not much success alone, having a teacher has taken this to entirely new level.
I'm looking into buying a my first (digital) piano and it seems like the Kawai CL-35 would be the best option availability & price wise in my country. What do you think of it? Do you like your CN21?
Alright. I'm pretty sure I might get it, going to go look for it in shops on monday to see if I can try it out. I was planning on using headphones most of the time, anyway. Thanks for your replies.
I'm sorry, I love your rendition, but during the last section of the A part, you had too much rubato, and not enough emotional dynamics. All the notes were perfect, but Chopin's music is all about emotional context, and being able to "sing" with your fingers on the main melody.
I like how the title says Lento but the video showed something different.

Thanks! I love my CN21. CL-35 is an even better piano (excluding speaker system - but the touch and sound is better). You'll be happy.

So, this: TruePianos 40-day free trial? Is it expencive? Its atlest great soundquality. Great job :)5*

!
Stunning!
BTW, I suggest adding a little reverberation. It will add a depth to the sound. And it will sound just like by professional pianist.
mcvspam 3 years ago
Thanks, mcv! It means a lot. I will try to fool around with some reverb in the future :)

I loved it! Your piano is beautiful, which model is it?
casyopea1977 3 years ago
Thanks :) It's Kawai CN21, but the sound is recorded using computer synth TruePianos 40-day free trial which I was testing that day.
Maticomp 3 years ago
I've been testing it. It's amazing really! Congratulations again on your great performance. Do you have a teacher? How long have you been playing?
