It was Allen Iverson vs. Shaq, Kobe, Rick Fox, Derek Fisher and Robert Horry. When the Lakers play the McGradys Magic it was T-Mac vs. 4.5 Lakers. When the Lakers play AI's 76ers its was Iverson vs. 5 Lakers. So people that compare Kobe to people ans say he is better njust from rings have no brains.

@IOYB Dude wait a minute here, I am a kobe fan myself but we're talking about a T-Mac in his prime. That was a T-mac that was lighting up the entire league at the time and he was coming off of a 62 point game before this game. So, Lantz is not entirely out of his mind for making that statement. There was a time when T-mac was actually the most popular player in the game in jersey sells alone. I even remember when he stole the show at All star game. Durant has yet to do that.

I'm not comparing Durant to Mac, Mac was the far better of the two. I think you're misinterpreting the quote from Lantz. He's pretty much saying that McGrady, more so than anyone in the league, can take any shot without the coach yelling at him, which I think is silly. Kobe takes more ill-advised shots than anyone in the league, and he usually plays on STACKED teams.

T-Mac, on the other hand, HAD to shoot a lot, his teams sucked, trust me, I'm a Magic fan, I know.

i dont really know what all you kobe haters are talking about? this was the greatest quarter by a nba player thanks to KOBE! he took over guarding t-mac who was on a hot streak and shut him down, while himself scoring 24 pts. its even better than Carmelo's 33pt quarter because Kobe stopped T-Mac while torching 24pts.
