it is actually u got it bad. it's just how he learnt it. probably listened to bass first? then did the chords. you can use this perfectly for singing along because there isn't really a melody. but if you want the melody you should listen to the melody, figure it out on piano/keyboard and put the chords with it ;) .btw good job because not many people are able to listen to it and figure it out like this. PeaCe .
