CART was the last race so a bunch of NASCAR fans were there witnessing CART live for the first time. Green flag drops, people cheer. Then the cars reach the back straight and get beyond 220 mph. Crowd goes silent and you hear gasps and a lady say, "OMG, look at how fast they're going."

Those things were fuckin FAST. Not so much anymore. They wouldnt even come off the white inside line today. These were drivers. Theses were Racecars.
