  • Code please......hate it when they don't post code...

  • hvp is 12 volts lol.

  • So this is the bit banging method in avr flashing. ... Not a single bit survived from this flashing.

  • LOL! Just LOL!

  • Hope you were wearing your anti-static grounding wrist-strap.

  • Now we have the right brain-inplant for the n.w.o. scumboy's.

    where can i order? (()_o)

  • Can you do a boundary scan with this programming method?

  • so what exactly did you program it to do? Blink an LED?

  • HiVoltage Programming succesfull

  • cool never taught that AVR's could be used as welding machines :D

  • jaja tas burning ????

  • It`s easy. You set inputs sequentially from 1st bit to 8th :)

  • It's FANTASTIC!!!

  • Now, the cpu is 30% faster.

  • Mh this device is still working I guess?

  • Ha Ha Ha Ha.

    Wow.

Screw Jtag, screw ISP. Try Arc Programming!

  • The arcs mean that fuse bits are clearing. I think that's the best use for a dead chip I've seen!

  • huh, have a couple of dead avrs, must try this out :)

  • You should connect HV signal to another pin... try to reprogramm chip and have fun again :D

  • the fasttes AVR programerr/burnner

  • Now that's what I call an EPROM burner.

  • did it die?

  • It's not possible, that it survived THIS.

    So... yes, it definately died!

  • @Freewarplayer

Perhaps all IC-legs are connected to the crocodile clip? :D

  • Cool! It lets to relax after RSTZDISBL setting and other AVR lowdown acts :)

  • mmmm... it's run well after programming? :P

  • I think so... :V

  • Sometimes this also works on bricked organics. I have seen paramedics use something similar.

  • "Okay, maybe that was too high Voltage"

    Maybe, yes :D

  • Some time ago one of my OpAmps died. Then I got angry and connected it to a 4200µF capacitor, charged to 465V. This was also cool... And I definetely wouldn't re-use this chip in another circuit and wonder why it doesn't work

  • I'm just getting into microcontrollers and have been messing with the fuses. Now I can meddle without hesitation because I can do this to restore it!

  • ah yeah, I've heard of that. ppl use this to restore the fuses. Now the AVR is restored... isn't it!? :)

  • That is one way to do it. :)

  • I set my fuse wrong and don't have a crystal...you mind if I borrow that? Haha nice joke man, gave me a good laugh.

  • Cool:)

  • I would like to try this out :)

  • can i programm my new Quadcore this way?

  • hahaha - love it :)

  • If it was a PIC, I'd bet it still works!

    (stupid fuse bits... lol)
