I'm in process of getting into bumblefoot's music and I think that ben and he would make great guitarist duo in the vein of cacophony(becker and friedman are my favourite guitar duo)
what would those "priorities" be ... his solo's beat ron's and ive been trying to find more stuff on him but all his vids are gone or non existant and his websites just some stupid dating site bs
He's currently happily engaged in activities that mean a lot to himself and his family, which doesn't allow a lot of time for music. As long as he's content, I'm happy for him, though I'll be the first to admit that he had amazing potential to go even further than he did on guitar.
As far as his playing in comparison to Ron's, I think it's just a matter of preference, really. Knowing Ben, he'd probably say he'd probably point out all the errors he made in his solos, heh.
fo sure i agree, i was just sad such talend that coulda been an up coming great guitarist just dropped it and went back to family and school, anyways he was fuckin great and i bet he can still play a fuckin mean guitar ! haha i hope he shows back up someday on the tube, or anywheres!
As a long time friend of Mr. Litchman, I am truly saddened to see darkness fall over his guitar... However I know whatever he does he always does it better than anyone else.

its videos like this that make me wish Ron would record his solo stuff with an entire band.

Why did he?

I'm not sure "ditched guitar" is the right way to phrase that. I'd say he shifted his priorities.
