How to get big houses I only get some tents where poeple live in

@vetteownheid right clic on the building to get more info on the selected building. If you have a tent that usually means that either 1) the house has no water access. That requires a well or a fountain. or 2) No food is supplied to the house. This requires a market near by. The market in order to have food needs a granary close with food in it and that in turn requires either a functioning farm, wharf or wharehouse (if you are importing food). Hope this helps,

You should use fewer intersections. Fewer junctions = fewer services needed = more efficient city. This doesn't matter in Capua but it certainly does in later cities.

You can monitor the gods mood towards you on a religion screen. Don't build enough temples for a particular god, and a calamity will ensue. For example, Neptune floods your city... If a god is exalted, they give bonuses - for example, lift the mood of the city.

I'm terrible at this game, is there some technique to get enough workers. I'm really good at Sim City and I'm sure spacing prefectures and engineer posts evenly like you would fire stations in Sim City has something to do with it. The thing I have trouble with is fires and collapsing buildings.

u see no movies because 1) minimal installation or 2) back craked caesar III or 3) u need a virtual cd emulator to make an .iso image of the caesar III cd run, so that u will display your videos.

This game was a complete classic, still is. Reason why I don't play it is because I've just over-played this game to the point where I'm too good at it.

I thought Caeser IV would be the one to give me something new (but with the old stuff that made the 3rd game good), but no. I miss the plotting new land parts and watching your citizens growing from tents to villas. It completely sucked that game.

I hope, if Sierra make a 5th Caeser, they would make it more similar to the 3rd.

I couldn't find the option for that either when I reinstalled. It must be somekind of a patch. I NEVER downloaded mods but was able to do it. Don't build temples. Build Oracles. Population requires just certain amount of oracles for all gods to be happy. So you dont have to bother. If you want an early advantage use stuff like several Mars or Mercury temples in the beginning of the game

you have to raise wages and build housing for laborers to attract workers. That means you have to deficit spend for a while, and make cheap housing to house your potters or weapons makers. If you can swing it, the real munny comes from high level citizens. But you have to feed their needs.

build gardens need them, right beside them is best, and make sure whatever they demand they have decent access to.

Also building a plaza instead of roads near structures improves them, for example, you can upgrade your market by doing this.
