@Sunnyloverish I think it for the sake of the Hallyu wave that they leave some Korean in.. Or they just couldn't find a better fitting word in Chinese to flow right. I just put ke shi (可是) in the rap speaking to myself.. I don't think it sounds right, but I've been listening to the song with hajiman for so long.
@bubbizhearts no, its because it is originally a korean song, they must keep a word of korean in it, to show hallyu wave~ you can listen to another originally korean song, which has a japanese version of it, you'll find korean words in it ^^
@lilpinkfrog2 it seems like direct translation.. LOL

Do they sing in Cantonese or Mandarin?
gaaragourno 2 months ago
@gaaragourno
They are singing Mandarin, that is the officially the language in China. Cantonese is a dialect, that is spoken in Hong Kong

mohsine1080 4 months ago
@mohsine1080 Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean...She doesn't say "yi zhi ci." She says "yi zhi cai"
lilpinkfrog2 4 months ago
@lilpinkfrog2 I just asked why she pronounces "cai" as "ci"?
mohsine1080 4 months ago
@mohsine1080 She doesn't. Listen carefully and you'll hear that she says "cai"
