Pretty girl, nice voice. But why oh why, in this latest version, have they massacred the correct tune? The chorus is now x-factor bland, instead of soul wrenching. Crying shame.

She is not terrible or anything, but there are like a few hundred thousand singers/performers out there who are better musicians who will never get interviewed because they are not as physically appealing. I am not criticizing her so much as the people who are too shallow to realize that they are listening to someone sing because they like the way she looks - it's like choosing a place to live based on how it sounds. It might work out, but that isnt your fault.

@manco82 Well, as I said, I don't think she is terrible or anything. "100's of thousands of musicians"-that was some exaggeration employed as a rhetorical device to make a point. Look up username nevermind150788 on YouTube for someone not getting exposure. There's a lot of them out there.

Also, look up the story of Sharon Jones, who had to endure for years A&R people telling her she was too short and too black.  If you are an attractive blond, you have a leg up - that's all I'm saying.

In response, I don't think she uses her looks at all. She's really talented and plays an instrument and writes her own songs...that doesn't come from looks. Sorry, I'm defensive about this lady cuz I love her music.
