  • Wow, thanks for the quick response on the video/iPhone setting! I have a 2005 Z4 with DSP (and have the DSP adapter) but can't find the 3-pin connector ANYWHERE! There are no cables tucked away in the same area as shown in this video. Also, since I have a non-M model my battery is in the floor of the trunk and it appears that the amplifier is there also. Do I need to look for the 3-pin connector elsewhere? Thanks!

  • Thanks for the video but when I try to play it on my iPhone while in the garage with my Beemer it says "Video Unavailable, The author of this video does not allow playback on the iPhone".... why not?! It's way more handy to watch part of it and the do it instead of having to run back in the house to the computer! (btw this only happens on part 1/2, not part 2/2)

  • @EngiNerd2000 Thanks for the heads up. The setting has been fixed!

  • i have an 04 Z4 Non-M and can't find the CD Changer 6 Pin Plug.

  • @DaRealMiKEMiKE You may have DSP and need a DSP adapter. Please call us or email at the number on our website bavsound dot com for further help or to purchase a DSP adapter.

  • is this the trunk interface or radio interface silverline?

  • @lambo696 This is the trunk interface for the Silverline Unit.

  • Really well done and a big help. You were right when you said that the toughest part was finding the connectors. My '06 roadster had almost no room to get my fingers in anywhere. I found the 6-pin right away but had to hunt for the 3-pin. Your pointing out of where they start by the amp helped me find the right harness. I pull it towards me and freed up the other 3-pin. Thanks again.

  • How much would this setup cost for an 06' Z4M Roadster with the nav system?

  • @SammerJammer If you don't have DSP or Satellite Radio it's 152.99 currently. The ashtray dock is $130. Visit our site at bavsound dot com for more information, or to email our technical support or sales staff. Thanks - BSW Team

  • @bavsound ok next question, if i get the dock, how stable is it if I'm driving aggressively with my phone in it?

  • @SammerJammer No problem whatsoever : ) Very stable!

  • @bavsound hey sorry to bug u guys again, is this the cheapest was to just get an aux into my car? or is there any cheaper option?

  • @SammerJammer We do have an aux input kit for $90, but not for your '06 Z4, sorry. The DICE silverline is $152, will give you aux + iPod. Dealership does carry an aux input kit for your car but will probably charge you a good chunk to install it, might be a wash, in which case DICE is a better option. . . Good luck :)

  • @SammerJammer That would be the cheapest option for you '06 Z4. Older cars can get an aux input only for $90.
