@hendrixnut64 Same reason there's never been a shaolin monk in the octagon, they don't fight unless they have to. You need to have an aggressive, competitive and somewhat violent nature to compete in the octagon, attributes the monks work hard to not have. I wondered the same thing about why they're not in the olympics for anything, some of those guys would dominate high and long jump.
@hendrixnut64 who said i do that? i know i didn't. But seriously though, (i do watch ufc and boxing as well) i respect this the most because of their training, honor, and their use for this style of fighting, for defense. Ufc is just ground n pound attacking and is waaaay too sloppy, if they had someone in there like this the round would be over within 20 sec no matter who they were fighting. Yea let's see rampage or jose aldo or mike brown use this form and not fall on their ass like idiots
@drumforlife720 actually it's not that hard. i know a guy who can do that and i do shaolin kung fu as well, but i'm not that good by now. in fact, everybody can learn to do this form if you just want to! 3 years of training, i suppose and you have it!
Na; I'll stay with Taekwondo
