Very beautiful playing! Why did you decide to uncross your hands for this song? What kind of pickup/effects are you using to get that very nice tone? I hope you play more baroque/classic pieces, it's awesome!
Hello; crossed vs. uncrossed playing is a big debate among the stickist community. Uncrossed players generally do this in order to avoid two hands bumping into each other in particular positions and allow full fret accessibility for both hands. Crossed players generally emphasize the ergonomic benefits and the fact that Emmett Chapman had thought of this playing style when he was creating the Stick. Both styles have different benefits and drawbacks. I play both styles depending on the song.
Mechanically, it's an electric guitar and an electric bass in the same instrument. But the community like to think of it as it's own instrument for good reason. It's played with aspects drawing from legato on bass and guitar (tapping), piano (bass and melody) and percussive techniques.
Tesekkurler. 'chapman stick band' olarak ararsan grup videolari cikiyor. Greg Howard Band olarak da deneyebilirsin. King Crimson veya Tony Levin Band diger iki tanesi.
any kind of difference out of millions is always attractive, whether beautiful or not, in this case, its the first one...
