by the way this is not the old storms she use to sing its a new version, so the octives are not going to be the same, its the new storms about her man friend her lover, David..! please ladies no more fighting stevie wouldent like it ok!
By the way, "Ms. Lifelong Fan," I'm sure Stevie would appreciate your "calling her out," being you're such an industry pro and all. Furthermore, "dodging high notes," or not....I'm pretty sure she's still better than you, or I'd be watching videos of YOU singing. Yeah...that's not happening. She can sing her songs any damn way she wants to. She's the one rolling in the benjamins. I couldn't care less if she sang every song an octave lower. She's still amazing. "Carry on." LMAO
Michele1j: ROFL...you ARE a funny girl! I'm not sure what you're serving here, other than a hateful attitude, but you just continue right on. You're only making yourself look bad, which is perfectly fine with me. :)
I was front row for this concert at Columbus OH and i really felt i was watching history when they did this song... couldnt help but tear up either, it was amazing....if your waiting to see them, it will be so much more than what you expect....Thank you so much!!
Congrats Stevie for finally growing a pair. It took 30 years. This is "artistry" - not screaming - not talking thru your songs - not dodging the high notes. The real fans who have been listening to the same 25 year old set list say "Thank You!"
Michele1j: Excuse me, but I have to disagree with you on one point. Tori Amos, like Stevie, and MANY OTHER ARTISTS, talk parts of their songs sometimes to bring out specific points and add variety to doing the same songs over and over. I LIKE that the songs aren't exactly the same every time I hear them, it's part of what makes a CONCERT better than a CD. Have you not seen the earlier Mac videso and concerts? She has ALWAYS done these things. It wasn't "dodging" anything.Watch Live at Red Rocks.
Bitch please, Do your research. Stevie has been dodging the high notes FOR YEARS! The fact that you feel the need to defend her is hysterical and tells me you are not a life long fan as I am. I love Stevie but am not afraid to call her out from time to time. Carry on.
Michele1j: First of all, I'm 46 years old and yes, I'm a "lifelong fan." The first album I ever bought with my own money was Buckingham Nicks. Secondly, I never called YOU a bitch, but...by all means, if the shoe fits. She has ALSO been speaking through parts of songs for years...."Bitch...do your research." You obviously aren't a very good listener, and I find it hard to believe you're EVEN a fan, much less "lifelong." You obviously haven't been listening very well.
Wow! Great video and sound of Stevies voice she is so magical, beautiful, sexy, talented, loveable! LOL DJ DEB st.louis,mo I will be seeing her in May 2009. I saw her earlier. I just love this woman with all my heart!
Stunningly beautiful. Her voice is unbelievably fantastic. Who would have ever thought she would pull out this song after thirty years and do it this kind of justice.....
Thanks so much for posting this! I drove 3 hours to see this show. We were so blown away on how great they were, we couldn't drive home the next day knowing there were tickets still available for the Friday show. Yep, we booked the room one more night, and went down and saw them again. Worth every penny! I got choked up both nights during this song. Those of us who get it know what a treat this was. So beautiful.. the song and the women that wrote it.
I will and could never tire of hearing this haunting melody.
And Stevies voice and expression shows how much she is giving herself as if this was the first time she ever ever sang it. A true exhibition of her beautiful vulnerability and signature openness. How could anybody ever slate her credibility as a musician? She is the still the same amazing lady as 30 years ago.
thank you for posting. this is the most beautiful song ever written and i hope they keep it in their setlist as they come to california. i love you stevie!!!!
A bunch of people got up to get drinks and go to the bathroom during this song, which pissed me off beyond belief. Here is THE treat of the evening, and you're leaving?! Not just that, but you're ruining it for the rest of us by stepping over us, bumping into us, and walking in front of us? Jerks.
I had one of those rows. I had four people basically gone the whole concert, or they we're bothering me to get up, so they could get out. WHY COME!?! SEC 22 at Pittisburgh. I'm younger then you people, and I wanted every min., unlike you people, who lived in 70's. A' Holes. It's sad how people have lost their love for music. I was born at the wrong time.
i was there <3 so in love.

yea the talking is not only rude for the artists but everyone around them who have payed good money and are into the show. hate it.
