Yeah, that's Seiji Ozawa. He conducts the "Boston Pops" orchrestra broadcast on the A&E Channel for 4th of July fireworks displays amongst other things.

I think the Russian name is the name of the lead dancer. This is the Russian Ballet I think and the conductor is from Japan. I am 99.9% positive on this.
Vladimir is originally from Russia but dances for the viennese state opera house ballet. The conductor is Seiji Oshawa currently the conductor of the Viennese Philharmonic Orchestra. This is an excerpt from the world famous Viennese New Years concert televised live in 64 countries every year on the 1st of January.
This is one of my favorite piece, it reminds me my childhool, I used to dance ballet, over and over to this piece. I still hear it sometimes. I could listen to Classical music every single day . Everytime I I hear this piece I stay breathless. The Ballerina are fabulous, I would prefer for them to dance in pointe. I've seen them dancing in pointe to this piece.

It,s officially called "An der schone bluaen Donau" Don,t know why they call it Danube, sounds kind of German too, maybe the river Donau is called Danube in English? Pronounce almost just the same as it,s written Danubeh ;} Donau is more like" tho now "sounds the same ;}

it is the so called "Donau Walzer"..."An der schönen blauen Donau" (translates to: on the banks of the beautiful blue Danube) We pronounce it pretty much the wy you wrote it down...perhaps like: dough now :)
