in this easy you are easily killed, 3 hits received and you are dead, and the continue option is really a pain in the ass, this is a enjoyable game but with a lot of errors to me, specially with the controls, Devil May Cry is far better than this game. Maybe NG 2 is way better than this one, I was really annoyed with NG.

nice. this game is very similar to devil may cry. the upward slash move then u slash on the way back down. also u get "devil trigger" in devil may cry, which also has the small icons in the top right of the screen, just like NG. lots of similarities. good games.

This one has a million extras, much better graphics running at 1080p resolution including (as you should notice even from this low res video) MUCH better HDR lightning, the ability to play as Rachel and a lot more.

It's an enhanced port or "remake" of the Xbox original.

Shitty artificial intelligence, push over enemies, uninspired boss fights, short ass campaign that had to be split amongst 2 heroes, gameplay that didn't even build on DMC3 (in fact it took a step back) and you already mentioned how repetitive that shit was. This game is a remake from the original xbox version titled "Ninja Gaiden Black". You can either buy it used for like $10 bucks I think or download it from xbox live. Its in the section for xbox originals. This game is basically a graphical remake of the same game. Its a great game no matter what version u get. The only difference you'll find is the graphics.

Honestly, it doesn't take forever to beat. Elite players can blow through it in just under a day, but it's entirely dependent on your particular level of skill. This game will not baby you the way DMC4 does; in fact, you're in for some tough ass love at first. Everybody in this game comes to fight, from the 1st set of basic enemies you see, 'til the final boss. I advise you to get used to blocking, and evade rolling real quick.

i own ninja gaiden sigma for the ps3, before buying i had doubts between dmc4 and sigma. Sigma has proved something of a dissapointment though.. The main annoyance in the game is that there are no checkpoints, if you go down ( which happens alot ) you must reload from last save.

this game should've stayed what it was 4 years ago. You're better off buying dmc4 and maybe renting this one.

That's why it's better to you? Cause Ryu throws a kick here and there in some attack strings on NGS? Ryu does kick in NG2 for 360, just not with the Dragon Sword anymore. Hell, you can kick with the falcon claws, the tonfa, and the flails just to name a few. Plus, you can always play NGB backwards compatible on the 360 if you want to see the older attack strings and combinations that sigma has.

Never heard anything about NG2 suffering from bad boss fights, hadn't noticed. NG2 was rushed out to compete with MGS4 in june. Blame team ninja for not polishing up the product, not the 360's hardware. I own both consoles, and graphically both of them are beast. And you make it seem as though Sigma is an all new graphics engine, it isn't. It's a slightly enhanced engine from the original NG and NGB on Xbox1. It's more colorful and has a higher res; something 360 could've done with Sigma also.

I think it's pretty fucking sad for DMC4 that an enhanced port of a 4 year old Xbox game manages to outclass it. Sigma is by far the best hack 'n slash action adventure game you can get for PS3.
