Amazing!!! My daughter did acrobatic gymnastics and I know how much training, strength and flexibility it takes for a human being to do this. These ladies were WAY ahead of their time.....check out some of the other acro-gymnastic stuff on Youtube... you'll see what I mean!!!!! Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!!!!!!!

This sort of contortionist act has been around for centuries. It was certainly very popular in vaudeville, along with many other 'freak acts' of similar fascination. Modern exponents of the art generally perform rather more attractive routines, thankfully!

My remarks were factual - nothing more nor less. As for trying it myself - well, at the age of 64, I doubt I'd be much good at it! Extraordinary girls! I've never seen such amazing moves nor heard about the sisters! They've probably started training since babies!

How were their lives? Have the sisters been having health problems due to bodily contortions? Hope their internal organs paused no trouble --did they bore any children? It looks painful, even if they are putting on a smile -must be " grin and bare it" thing. Something special and glad it's captured on film and kept having around.
