  • I met Drum Machine in '96. He's a really cool dude. Gave me a t-shirt and everything.

  • I miss Paul Neville's guitar part on Streetcleaner!

  • managed to find out about these guys after searching similar albums to Antichrist Superstar by Marilyn Manson

i shat bricks ....these guys are awsome

  • @sidewaysfcs0718 Way better than shitty ass Marilyn Manson.

  • These guys took "hair metal" off the map.

  • I love Godflesh, I just can't get it out of my system. This is incredible footage ty!

  • C# was the Pure tuning Songs of Love and Hate era, after that they kept going lower eventually down to A. Ever heard a Broadrick guitar solo? He is the greatest ever.

  • One of THE heaviest bands on the planet! Still have my Godflesh cassettes, 7"s and records-good to see them back!

  • Saw them at Leeds Damnation fest'. Got my CD signed :p

  • does anyone know what tuning JB uses?

  • @warwick2155

    C# standard I believe.

  • One of the greatest metal/grind bands ever, all others that follow in the same vain are pretenders to the crown.

  • gonna try to see them at marylands death fest next year. got swans and melvins this year, godflesh next. fuck yeah!

  • New Godflesh! YES!! Love this band. Cheers for this! :D

  • Ben is starting to look a bit like Harvey Pekar! Only from the side though.

  • Thank you for uploading this video. I have had the chance to meet both Justin and Benny several times over the years at gigs and have them sign all of my GODFLESH (and side projects) stuff.

Justin has always been kind enough to make time to chat with me and is easily approachable by other fans wanting to make conversation about the band and music in general.

Glad to see Justin is back to good health and that he has overcome his anxiety condition.

    Best wishes to GODFLESH.

    :D

  • Ben Green's Bass can demolish the World!!!!

  • @boondoo Agreed. That is part of what draws me to Godflesh, the way the bass is SO heavy and so forward in the recordings. I loved that, as opposed to most bands that the bass in just for background. The bass was an integral part of the Godflesh sound.

  • Saw them in Glasgow last year, couldn't be crap if they tried!

  • wish i coulda been there. Godflesh and Swans on the same bill... two of the heaviest groups ever

  • ...slateman is epic.

  • What's wrong with Saxon??? Damn industrial nerds !!!

  • It's amazing how eloquent and softly-spoken they are given how heavy their music is!

  • Excellent footage and interview. I was at this show and it was a brilliant set and performance.

  • legends

  • Many thanks to the city of Birmingham!!!!

  • The end is Pure II :)

  • I saw them many a time - and to answer Justin about opening for Danzig (I saw them at Roseland NYC open for Danzig and Type-O) - IMO you guys blew Danzig off the stage. Danzig was great on the first album when he had Chuck Bisquits on drums but after the second album they were toast. Godflesh were always edgy and ahead of the times. Cool video - enjoyed watching it!

  • impressive band) wanna see someday in Ukraine)

  • Special thank you for posting this.

    I appreciated it very much.
