I also think it says both "pumpkin" and "bumpkin" alternately, which is probably why people fight so incessantly about it. The whole song is based on a poem called "Anorexia" by Eavan Boland.if you haven't read it, then do - if you want to understand the song.

Once you know this and what bumkin means you can really get some meaning out of this song. And i believe its "that beauty's a lie, told sweetly" and not "alined"

The lyrics in their songs (if my sources are right) are all based on a story (not sure if they made or read) about a man loading animals onto a boat like Noah. Then the animals start to fight and riot, ect.. Hence the name TSOAF.

The third album was the final part to the story.
