I didn't want to watch this movieat first. I was afraid that it would've been a crappy movie with a bad plot and just lots of gay sex, you know?

But no. It was nothing like that. It shows a beautiful development of two men, that love each other even when they know they shouldn't. A secret hidden from the real world, covered up with mixed emotions. The pain they feel, the love, the frustration. All expressed beautifully with little words.

I loved Brokeback Mountain. I will never forget it. ♥

I grew up gay and was forced to live the straight life. It killed me everyday that I woke up knowing I was different and no one understood. I am so thankful to the Gods and Goddess I am gay. I remember when this movie came out and all the hype about the guys being gay and what not.... I didn't want to see it because of that... and, I still haven't seen it to this day. Yeah, guys being in love kinda gets to me still, but I'm working to accept it. But one thing I wanted to give kudos to is that both these guys are straight, yet they portrayed gays effortlessly, and that above all will always be gold in my book.
