When it comes down to it, Catholicism is an extremely brutal religion. Countless lives have been taken in its name, we practice symbolic cannibalism (the eating of the "body" and "blood" of Christ during communion), and Jesus was beaten, nailed to cross, stabbed in the side with a spear, and then he came back like it was nothing. Pretty damn brutal if you ask me.

@ForerunnerConstruct mostly due to the fact that people interpret the religion in the wrong way. Commiting heresy while spouting nonsense like '' in the name of god '' while they are trying to kill someone. Also people who USE religion, or people who are blind abuse religion. Religion in its bare essence is something to be respected for what it holds. Sadly people throughout the history of man have always been corrupt and foolish. BTW the cannibalism thing is metaphoric, not literal.

Now I am of the belief that no religion is or can ever be the only religion, and that all religions have committed countless heresies according to their own beliefs. I still believe in god, but I no longer believe in religion.

Understand the meaning of whats beyond, and one will arrive at the ''Truth''. And in spite of how powerful Alucard is, for example, Hellsing still got its ass handed to it by the Valentines, for example. Ok despite your lack of Grammar or information a proper comparison would be that Abraham van Hellsing (Integras ancestor) Defeated Alucard the only way possible (By digging his heart out) hence Alucards claim that "Only a man can defeat a monster" but when Anderson repeatadly fails to kill Alucard, he uses the thorn and thusly make himself into a monster meaning that not only did he not have the skill or cunning to finish the job but that he lacked the sheer power of will to keep trying as a man

Of course he isn´t immoral, he can regenerate very fast, but if the damage is too big, then he dies too, like in the manga, when he used the nail of helena in his final fight - he became much stronger, but Alucard destroyed him netherless (well walter killed him at least but alucard defeated him first :P)
