Sorry Bon Jovi fans-this version is really not very good. The harmonies are off key and the guitar solo is pretty lame. BJ should not be trying to play this song; the performance is lethargic and lacks soul. Check out the SNL version of Neil and Crazy Horse - that's brillant.

Yep, in fact, I have more than 25 years experience with listening to the greatest bands of the world. The truth is, BJ is a great band for the kind of music they play - pop music and bubble gum rock. There is another video out on youtube playing Costello's "Peace, Love & Undertanding". That performance is also best described as "ordinary" - like their version of "Rockin' In The Free World", it certainly is nothing spectacular.
