We are not really a club, just a family of nine who often hosts BB wars because of all the (massive amounts of) airsoft guns we own. My twin was the gun-repairman until he joined the RNZAF a couple of weeks ago, and I am chief

photographer/videographer. So we thought this competition was definitely worth a shot! Even though we didn't win anything except a T-shirt and a laser-dot scope for achieving top 20 - I would do it again any day.

Nice! big family. How did you guys get your "A"EG's ; p. I'm a club member in Auckland. Thought it was unique to see people playing Airsoft outside of clubs.

We were sold a bulk amount of second-hand, very low-power, chinese quality, and somewhat thrashed pistols a couple of years ago. As time went by, we bought better weapons, until we each had our own weapon of choice, while the "guns for the masses" were all Glock 17s or Soccoms. As for the AEGs, let's just say, being a photographer, I have an Apple Mac computer that is capable of dealing with such videographic effects ;) (although we do have one "semi-automatic" *ahem* 'Kurtz' sub-machine gun)

Get into the spirit of it and see the funny side! After all, effective advertising often relies on producing caricatures of real life situations. You may also be interested going to tvnz and searching for "Dairy owner won't be charged" This is a news article where a shop owner used an airsoft gun to ward off an attacker.

I recognized some garage band music in there! It was fun, but it should have been shorter.

I used a few of the pre-made "apple loops", simply to save time, but all of the sound effects are original.

We filmed, edited, and uploaded it in two days, and had it entered about 15 minutes before the 11:59pm deadline.

And yes, had I had more time to edit, we would have trimmed it down to about two minutes.

Oh well.

No, not crazy, just took a bit of convincing to get my twin to do it and then find a clear beach to film on. Of course I couldn't get shot, 'cos I had to be behind the camera...!

But in the end we all had the time of our lives filming the whole deal!
