I used to do this all the time as a child, but I did NOT reverse, I went through my arms ( I realize a lot of grown people would have elbow issues) but I did gymnastics. I was just hoping we would have more community outdoor gyms like this at parks. I miss doing this type of thing. If adults had big stable obstacle courses to climb, flip etc., like children we'd all be more fit and a little less reserved.
@alex3692303 If you feel soreness in your elbows take at least 2 days off training the lever. Gain flexibility by staying in a tuck position and lowering yourself past the back lever position. This will stretch your shoulders and chest essentially taking off some strain on your elbows. Additionally, don't rush this move, work on holding a knees tucked back lever for at least a month before allowing yourself to progress to the next difficulty.
@alex3692303 You work your way to those moves. Connective tissue takes at least months to develop. Unless you are very advanced in weights or something like this. It will take around a year to get the amount of connective tissue needed to do a iron cross. Back lever takes much less. Just work your way up slowly and do a lot of prehab stuff and plenty of warm ups.
Venice Beach is dangerous at night, no one goes around there after 8pm

One question: how to struggle with a pain in elbows?
Both at a cross and at back level

@dfpdxxl His core is beyond strong. He just doesn't have an excessively low body fat for the kind of athlete he is.
