what is that at 0:47 and 0:54 exactly? i guess thats some of those linear fills that look difficult and are very easy but im not sure and i really would like to know what it is exactly written down.
@Battlefuzzy i would love to write it out for you, but i can't read! haha sorry. its a simple pattern thrown in there with 2 kick 2 snare then 2 kick floor tom snare like this ( RK LK RS LS RK LK RFT LS RK LK RS RK) basically if you practice evenly spaced hits rudiment style doing (RK LK RS LS) and just replace a Right snare with a floor tom hit, the fill is in there. haha someday i'll learn how to read and all this will be much easier. thanks for checking me out.
i see you resting your hand on your thigh after every back beat. i used to do that too but i changed my ways and it helped out alot!! just a suggestion. i never noticed i did it. but my feel and pocket increased alot when i made the change!! good drumming. bad fills for funk/hip hop.
interesting. I'm guessing Max is your teacher ? It reminded me of his grooves. no higher compliment than that.
