Captain Price dies too, because you can see a guy trying to give him CPR but he fails you see him throw down his hand because he lost Captain Price. MAYBE they took him to a hospital and he survived. But Soap is your commanding officer in Modern Warfare 2

If you go up to the green car on the bridge ( where he stands at in the video at 4:00) you can go into prown and just lay there until the cut seen. once the cut scene starts you stand up and get hit by the helicopter. it worked for me.
