  • nice flying great sound

  • What do you mean a "Flair" Astro Hog? I've never seen any Hog other than the old Berkely or the Sig Hogs.

  • Thanks, the model is still flying the same and is 1 of my favourites, no problems at all with the carb to tank height, I don't run pressure but I do have the tank vent tube connected to a short piece of brass tube which is soldered to brass strip and mounted to the front engine mount bolt facing forward into the propwash, this creates a constant positive pressure to the tank, keep in mind though that I only do gentle aerobatics with her but inverted is fine but needs almost all down elevator!

  • very nice flying! i noticed that the laser is mounted in the upright position, this means that the tank is lower than the carburettor. did you use pressure from the silencer or there's no need? i have a great planes supersportster that is similar to the astro hog and i would like to install the engine in that configuration, but i'm worried about the tank position. can you send some photos of the engine installation?

  • Flies very well. What Laser is in it?

  • Wow what a great sounding engine.I've got a Magnum 61 on mine which sounds almost as good when throttled right back.
