@RonanRox15 everyone deserves music. music is essential to the development of children. engaging in music enables them to score higher or standardized tests and achieve more academically. besides, you are not the only person who plays instruments. it is in fact quite common.

Unfortunately music education is in trouble because music educators do not instill any respect or appreciation for music in their students. Most music educators are only concerned with using their students for things like impressing parents, impressing their peers, winning competitions, and getting high scores and ratings at music festivals. Music educators are killing music education with their selfishness. Check out Music Education Extinction on youtube.

That's your conclusion???? really???? "Maybe, we need to pay more attention to it???" your conclusion should be: Music education achieves much more than just playing an instrument. It develops creative thinking, it develops a connection beetween our body and our brain, therefore it should be a central part in the curricula of every school!!!

Music in schools? Come on! We need more emphasis on football, cheerleading, and telling kids that because they can't control themselves they need to know how to put a condom on a banana. Music in schools? Come on.
