@dtorresjr1 Honestly I would choose a Asus Transformer Eeepad for about the same price as the Iconia and Thrive around $399 ish. I am getting a Asus soon and its one of the fastest Android tablets out on the market. I hope this helps :)

dont worry about getting the 8 or 16 gig cus its pretty simple to throw a micro sd card in there and transfer/copy stuff. i recommend downloading astro file manager first thing so u can do the moving/transferring/copying of files. .

i have this exact one and its legit for music and videos and games. browser isnt bad either. the youtube downloader app paired with the file download app allows u to download any vid off youtube to the tablet. .

the reason its cost is that high is because its got GPS capability.

all the 7" gps tablets are about $40-60 more then thier counterparts

and ppl seem cluless to this. its got a GPS antannae, and with the right app "sygic" for example

you get a GPS with turn vocals, and the features of a $300 gps machine.

Good luck finding this right now. I got the last one in WA state a couple days ago, and was extremely lucky for them to even find the one they were supposed to have. Bought it right before four other people looking for the exact same thing. It's a great budget tablet with some beefy tier one features, look forward to using it for a long time.

I bought one of these tonight but I'm gonna return it tomorrow. I like it, but the battery life absolutely sucks and and the viewing angles render it unusable. I use my tablets in portrait mode 95% of the time & the way the backlight is set up makes the right side of the screen noticeably dimmer than the left unless I hold it at a certain angle in landscape mode. I start to get eyestrain after about 5 minutes, and that's a major dealbreaker for me. Pity, this is such a nice tablet otherwise :/

You could pull the micro sd (If you have one installed) and insert it into your computer (Usually with a sd adapter, if you have one), or connect it to your computer via micro usb cord (comes with the acer iconia. It should mount as a drive you can create folders and add file (your videos). oovoo has an app, you can install it from android market.

Please add to your review about how BAD the microphone is on this.

The mic quality is just unacceptable.

I bought these as gifts to my parents so that they could skype with family.

The basic requirement is not met here.

@shad0wkillerz I will recomend you the Flyer, because the Iconia has an Nvidia Tegra 2 (dual core) and Android 3.2, while the Flyer has a single core processor (i don´t know the name) and Android 2.3.3.

But if you like drawing and not a lot of power, and you do not mind about the software, I will recomend you the Flyer.

I tried out both at best buy today. the Galaxy tab was kindof Laggy and hard to navigate around (I am new when it comes to android) and overall it was slightly larger than i thought. the a100 on the otherhand blew my socks off. VERY smooth and easy to navigate, because of the honeycomb system. it had very nice Live backrounds, to. I cant wait to get my a100.
