  • roadie double bass drums are a scam nobody shoud ever pay 100$ for rockband double bass pedal watch my video to make your own double bass pedal

  • does this pedal work witth band hero or GH5 PLEASE HELP

  • will it work for guitar hero?

  • this pedal sucks. I had mine for... i dont even think it was a month, and it broke. not the outside, the interrior broke. its pretty much a waste of money

  • you can get a real pedal like the Destroyer or the omega pedal for £20/$25-30 by buying a real pedal dismantling your old pedal and putting the magnet and the sensor on the pedal i'm doing this method and then i'm going to use the roadie pedal with it for double base when i get my IONS at christmas (because christmas sales are cheap :P :L lol)

  • LOUD

  • you have a weak pinky then

  • Price?

  • my brothers alisis kit came with one of these - its works on the rockband kit, but is not as comfortable as the stock. It did work when we were awating a replacement pedal i got for ebay for £6.

  • its a hihat pedal.

  • actually its nothing more than a Millenium High Hat Control Pedal, I tried out mine from my Millenium MPS-100, and it really works better than a RB-Stockpedal and its much more solid.

  • it works for rb stock kits?

  • wow you couldnt push the rock band ped with your pinky you got one hell of a weak pinky

  • what is the name of this kick pedal

  • thanks man

im going to get that now

    looks good

  • I'm gonna buy the damn pedal but if it sucks I HATE you.

  • i got a ps3 too but will the roadie pedal work on any gaming systems/consoles? or is it specifed, like ps3 for ps3, xbox for xbox?

  • does the rockband drum works with the Roland hihat controller?????

  • does this work with the Rock band 1 PS3 Drum set?

  • yes it will

  • hey can the work for ghwt also cause if it could i will totally get it

  • it will not work:) i already tryed it

  • yeah i got my roadie pedal about 3 days ago off Ebay for only $29.99 and it awesome, it came today and i used it for about an hour its way better than my old rb2 stock pedal

  • dont get me wrong, but rb2 stock pedals are good, but from what i hear this is alot better.

  • rb2 stocks are ok. but they break easily like mine did and they also are harder to push down.. but they're good for 2 feet on one pedal.. if you try doing 2 feet on 1 pedal on the roadie pedal its loud and annoying and hard lol but ya roadie is alot better

  • i have 2 rockband 1 oedals with metal plates and i think there ok

  • you have 2 pedals?? dude buy a splitter and you can have a double bass!

  • lol i do but the the one sensor is messed up and it hardly works. and i am preparing the splitter for christmas cause im getting band hero drums so i can do double bass drums and im getting a rb2 pedal

  • thanks 4 the review

  • an ekit hi-hat control is a terrible bass pedal. Get the rock pedal

  • I have the rock pedal lol. Rock pedal and destroyer pedal are OBVIOUSLY the best options, theres no argument to be had there. This pedal is for less serious players, or those players who do not wish to pay 70$ for a legitimate bass pedal

  • i want the rock or the destroyer pedal but dont have enough money

  • gimme yo socks

  • this pedal is awesome for one foot one pedal hits. you can hit so fast on this with one foot but not on destroyer

  • buy a rockpedal or in fact two and get the twin rocker for them all your kick pedal needs solved

  • haha im so lucky this pedal comes with the ions

  • no its got a different plug in size

  • Can I use 2 feet on one pedal with this pedal? On songs such as Indestructible, Inside The Fire, Are You Dead Yet, and Clouds Over California, I use one foot just fine. But on those crazy songs like What A Horrible Night To Have A Curse and This Is Exile, I just can't do it with one foot.

  • the spring on the roadie pedal looks weak does it break easily?

  • Mine still haven't broken after almost 2 years

  • but do you play really hard songs with bass like this calling?

  • hey dude could you find out the name of that cable please and tell me? thanks =)

  • the one that links the pedal to the stock drumkit is a 1/4 to 1/8 cable and you can find them at like Radio Shack. It's been a while but I'm pretty sure that's the name

  • nice review.

i got this pedal with my ions and i think it's alright. it's not as bad as everyone makes out... my only problem is that is sometimes double hits which is maaaaaaad annoying.

  • have you tried coupling two of those pedals with the new Roadie2 Coupler? I have some kind of "loss of signal" when i speed double kick on most of GH:Metallica songs on Expert+. I'm trying to find out if someone else has the same problem...

  • wow r those the fire sticks?

  • Hey, quick question. Is it a button or impact sensor?

  • I think button but I could be wrong

  • isnt the one that comes with the IONS?

  • Yep

  • isn't there a lot of people that says it sucks? ..

  • isnt there a lot of people that say everything sucks? Im not saying this pedal is the BEST but its good for the price

  • Okay :)

  • HELP

i am thinking of getting a pretty nice petal for a reasonable price. should i get the roadie petal? or should a get another one, please help me out!

  • i hear the destroyer petal is best, i would look into that one.

  • if you have the money to burn, of course.

  • but that is the reason i could never buy it.... cause its to ez to push it down! u need some kinda resistance.

  • wat the.. ur rock band pedal looks different that mine. (the metal 1)

  • I uhhh kicked it and it got destroyed like most other people's, so I got the diamond plate replacement kit off ebay that just screws in on top of it

  • ohh ok

  • Heh, I think it took me somewhere like three hours of playing to break the original pedal xD. Use a drum pedal together with a practice pad which I've modded with the magnet and sensor to pick up the hits, works great ;).

  • i luv your drums

  • =D thanks, but I have the Ion kit now XD

  • is it eaiser play it on tom sawyer

  • where can i get dat pedal and how much was it

  • >>>>>>>>>>

    Description.....

  • thats identical to my hi hat control on my electric drum kit... can i use it

  • i went and got the metal petal yesterday and it is really good u can push it down faster and it has a skeleton on it its made with a metal plate on the top 4 suport plus its like $20 bucks but i just fixed my original petal so now ive got dubble bass

  • does it works on a ghwt drum

  • for everybody out there, I do not know!! someone can help me out but I've never even played on a GH kit so I dont have a clue, sorry!

  • will this work with guitar hero drum tour?

  • nice review. been using 2 roadies for about a year now and love them. i actually mostly only use one now since i can double hit it really well, much better than that shitty original!

  • i remember when i got the ion drums i hated the pedal but i got used to it and it was good but at that time i had the destroyer too so i got the adapter for the pedal and i got the best formation ever ions with destroyer YAY !!!!!!

  • i have it to my electric drum set and i think it kinda sux u can hit fast whit it at all, its too easy to push down, u cant even rest ur foot on it :/

  • ya i hate it to

  • does this pedal work work with rock band 2 or any other future rock band titles like rb beatles or whatever. and does it also work with guitar hero?

  • it may be cheaper but its fucking loud as shit

  • although i've already done a video review for this pedal, i would still recommend it to anyone that is having a tight budget for rock band accessories. I wouldn't do so if you currently live in an apartment or anywhere where your room is above someone elses. It constantly pounds the floor especially on exp songs and makes a clanking noise when the magnets hit.

  • destroyer pedal and Rock pedal blow this out of the water. This pedal is nothing but an E-kit high hat control.

  • Nobody is denying that lol, I give up on saying this is a cheap pedal over and over again

  • if i got this pedal, would i be able to plug in the stock rock band 2 pedal and this one in a splitter and use double bass?

  • Depending on what kit youre using, I do it all the time on the ion with the pedals that are ion-compatible (the rock band 1 and original roadie pedals are not ion-compatible, but the ion stock pedal and rock pedal are) But idk for your kit if its not ion, someone else feel free to post

  • you wont be able to hold 1 pedal down and use the other

  • thanks but that doesnt at all answer my question.

and i already knew that from watching previous

    videos regarding double bass mod.

  • This pedal is fundamentally the same as the original Rock Band pedal. It should work the same way with a splitter. I say go for it. If it doesn't work then hey, you already have a new fantastic pedal.

  • it wont work, it works the exact same as the rb stock pedal so double bass will not work properly, just goto gamestop and get the official double bass adapter and you get a rb2 stock pedal with it

  • i had a better idea.

    i bought the "destroyer pedal"

on ebay brand new for under $20

and it has its own built in splitter

    and double bass works fine.

  • Malcom is right, If you get the official splitter (not from radio shack) itll work. NOTE TO ALL PEOPLE I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS BETTER THAN THE DESTROYER OR ANY OTHER PEDAL. SIMPLY A CHEAPER OPTION FOR THOSE WHO DONT WANT TO SPEND MORE!!!!

  • haha i looked up both the destroyer pedal

and the roadie and the destroyer is alot cheaper for some reason.

  • only used, from their website its still around 20$ more

  • only used? no.

when i got mine there was at least 5 more

brand new ones for around 20 bucks with free shipping, and the roadie (new) was around 30.

  • not from the website I go to, but ok lol. Thats cool

  • read my reply to malcom.

    it clearly says EBAY.

    your site probably overcharges haha.

  • why do you only have one bar on the set instead of 2?

  • I think I said it in the video. This is a rather long pedal so for most people who want the pedal far forward, thats a good position

  • This pedal came with my ion drummer! it it very reactive, just a little loud.

  • You have consider the sensitivity, though. The Rock Band pedal takes some energy to put down, and is somewhat difficult to accidentally hit. The Roadie Pedal would help with double kicks and such, but would seem prone to several unintended combo breakers. This would also apply towards fatigue however, and would provide a relief in long/bass filled songs like Are You Dead Yet, Indestructible, and Panic Attack. As someone plays for accuracy due to song completion, I couldn't see myself using this.

  • All very good points, and the real problem presented to players is how much you are willing to spend. This better is very sensitive, and overhits are not really a problem in spite of it being that sensitive. Also people buy pedals to play the whole game, instead of just more difficult songs like those mentioned. People playing those USUALLY have a higher end pedal to make them easier if those songs are within their playing ability. *Inhale* lol

  • I play with this pedal and can't recall ever unintentionally hitting the pedal. Sometimes, I just hold the pedal down because it's so easy to press. I play all types of songs and can't stand to play on the original pedal now. I say you should use the Roadie Pedal. ^_^

  • Do you know if this pedal is compatible with the guitar hero drum set?

  • So did you ever win that prize?

  • Yep 80GB iPod

  • lucky

  • will this pedal break anytime?? or made from metal?

  • Its reeeally hard to break, it is made from metal like it says in the video......

  • I got this pedal as a hi-hat pedal with my electric kit. I wanted to play with it, but I had 1 problem: the two sides of the chord are both that big, so I can't plug it in. So what I would like to know is: Is there a converter, and if so, how much does it cost and what is its name? Thanks for your help :)

  • sure you can get it at radio shack its a 1/4 to 1/8 audio converter that SHOULD work, sometimes doesnt with ion kits

  • does this work on rock band 2 drumset?

  • yes

  • are you sure? cuz i was looking on like roadie's ebay page and they said it worked only on the rockband 1 set

  • Im not positive, but I'm pretty sure the rock band 1 pedal works with the rock band 2 kit so theres a possibility of reverse compatibility. I'd love to give you a definite answer, but I've never even seen a RB2 kit... = ( only ions...

  • i know the rockband 1 stock pedal works with rb2

but im asking if the roadie pedal works with rock band 2

and is it even worth the hundred bucks or so?

  • Yes, it does i have the whole RB1 kit and dont even play RB1 i play RB2.

  • i bought this pedal and i somehow broke it in 1 month. so i bought the rock pedal and is still not broken after 3 months

  • Why do you play the pedals without shoes? Is it more practical and confortable?

  • I'd say so lol

  • one question does the roadie break?

  • My 2 havent, but I suppose the only thing that could break is the metal spring. They dont break often enough for consistent complaining at least

  • i love ur pads

  • i has the same pedal. came with my electronic drums. brokes it many times now........ itz welded now tho

  • Great review!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I want one! ='[

    I'm absolutely broke though...

Check out my pedal and kit. I'll post it in the video responses.

  • mine broke the one that came with my ions the first day i got it but i think why is because i stomped it really hard then it broke

  • lol@"unbreakable". fail

  • destroyer pedal ftw

  • can you use it as a double bass???

  • Yep, as long as its compatible with the drumset you're using, and you have a splitter of the appropriate size, its great for a secondary pedal

  • I don't like this pedal. It is very loose and it already broke on me in the first 2 weeks.

  • yeah, the spring is a little on the weak side but I didnt think it would break

  • i play on expert, and i play real drums

    i play heel up

is this pedal good for me ?

meh, i already ordered it a few days ago ..

  • yeah, when I used this I was heel up too, so it will work pretty well you can take my word

  • oh okay

did you order it directly from the company ?

if so i live in vancouver .. how long will it take to be shipped to my house ?

  • yeah I bought it from the link to ebay page on the right >>>> Idk about canada sorry, shipping rates should be on the checkout steps

  • i got it on wednesday .. its awesome !

  • does it work with ghwt

  • it won't. The signal is different

  • true that but its still the ion pedal lol lmfao

  • I bought one of these off eBay about an hour ago :D

  • isnt that the ion pedal

  • No, it is in fact the "Rock Band Roadie Pedal" as stated in the title of the review of this pedal.

    Good day :P

  • ok?

  • Damn straight it's ok :D

  • well if you look at the ion pedal and this one its exactly the same so...... :P

  • FFFFFFFFFFF

  • well actually i believe its just the alesis hi-hat pedal for electronic drum kits just with a new name slapped on it.

  • it is, the ion "BASE PEDAL" lol....Is just a high hat pedal.

  • dude i need this. The stock pedal i have; the spring is so strong, you need to stomp on it to fc those double bass sons. I hate it. I cant even fc indestructable the the stock pedal i have now.

  • destroyer is still better

  • aaaaand, thats what I use now. were talking about price not performance

  • are you sure it works with the rock ban d2 default drums set cuz i looked it up on ebay and it says that is only works with RB1 drums set please answer thanx

  • no im not sure sorry, neither me nor my friends have the rock band 2 kit, but it may say that it only works with the rock band 1 kit because they havent updated their page since rb2 came out. sorry maybe someone else could help me out

  • alright thanx dude i try to look it up cuz my dumb dog ripped my rb2 pedal so im looking for a pedal so yea any suggestions

  • shouldn't step on it too hard though since roadie pedal is really a electronic hi-hat pedal

    it might get jammed sometimes

  • will this work with guitar hero world tour drum set?

  • I use goodwoods/ion so ive never touched a gh kit so i cant answer..... sorry!

  • okay. ill just wait for someone else. Btw if you ever decide to get a GH kit i like them better than rock band, but the PEDAL SUCKS! lol im just going to mod mine.

  • pedal is ok :P

i guess only good thing is that its close to the receiver so its easier to do doubles

  • will this work with the wii version drums?

  • ssssshould, i havent checked that out yet

  • i know the ion drum kit does due to a patch that was released but i don't see a reason why the pedal shouldn't work

  • It's metal right? Like meaning more durable? I've broken 2 pedals and it's pissing me off, lol...

  • yeah for sure it will take a lot to break this thing

  • Nice Reveiw man. But remember you need alot of light when you are filming. It will make it easier for the camera to focus and gives sharper footage.

    BTW: Nice socks ;)

  • thanks lol, I might need to reset the white balance on my camera because that room should be super bright, I see what youre saying though thanks.

  • I bought this pedal a couple months ago, and now the footboard is starting to stick to the bottom and its dropping hits. Any ideas why?

  • mine did it too and it sounds bad. maybe the grease inside the pedal got dusty, try to see if you can check whats the problem around the edges of the sensor/the metal clip

  • how long would it take to be shipped if you put fedex home delivery?

  • ehhh, 4 days-week without upgraded shipping

  • ok thanks for replying :]

  • I got the same exact pedal with my electronic drum kit, no the ion.

It seems too light for me.

I like some heavy ones, and ones that actually FEEL spring enforced.

  • (Me too) shhh

  • To clarify, I meant NOT the ion, not "no the ion."

  • DUDE LIGHT UP DRUM STICKS KEWL

  • u say umm a lot lol. but i think i may buy that because of you so good review :P

  • thanks, glad to hear it. yeah i do cuz I didnt even think about what i was saying before I said it

  • haha this is the pedal that comes with the ion

  • where did you get the drum sticks

  • i think those are the sticks that when you hit it it lights up.

i think you can get them at disneyland

  • where did you get that one good pedal that you can press alot faster than the normal pedal

  • nice drums sticks

  • Estais todos como unas putas regaderas

  • youre a prostitute!

  • can you use the roadie pedal on guitar hero world tour?
