@tundraization Nahhh, the 90s were still pretty good. 80s was fun and amazing, but 90s were "No Doubt" just as awesome in their own way. Sorry for the pun there.... Errr, anyway, there were great grunge bands like Nirvana. Pretty love songs from singers like Shania and Mariah. And just chill songs from others like Sheryl. It's the 2000s when everything just went splat, nothing means anything anymore.

This song is amazing in that it set the stage for electronic dance that encompassed the entire 1990s. While bands like Ace of Base, Haddaway, etc were played constantly throughout the 90s, the era was referred to as the new disco. How quickly people forgot that it was alive and well back in 1983 with this song and album...which was almost the same time as the real disco. It's just another example of how advanced the 1980s were. The 60s-70s did it for rock. The 80s advanced everything else.
