I just got a flight all the way up the east coast today and we took off and it was majestic. Andrew said he was sweating but I think that's just because there were pretty girls around but when i see pretty girls i don't sweat so it's a mystery of life like life itself, no? We hit turbulence and bumped a bit but i wasn't worried but i thought about this song and hummed it and rocked back and forth until mean Mr Greary who was the guy next to me asked me to stop then yelled when i didn't. too punk
I bought this Godzilla soundtrack because of the Led Zeppelin/P.Diddy song. I think it was Black Dog? Anyway, I became a huge FF fan afterwards. At 3:00 it sucks your brain into the world of FF's.
Damn, Taylor Hawkins somehow manages to make a complex drumming arrangement seem tasteful. We'll probably never know how he did it, but he did it, and it's awesome. :-)
@PatPatrick01 Taylor wasn't in the band when they wrote this. Is was either William Goldsmith or Grohl. Most likely grohl because he recorded most of the drums on TCATS.
I have always rated Taylor as the best drummer ever, I must admit that Jimmy Chamberlain from Smshing Pumpkins isn't far behind...but still Taylor is the top man
One of my favorites of theirs and rare. Just you go and try to buy it from iTunes lol I had the Godzilla sdtrk for some reason so I got it off of that. Good times.
a320 is about what wil happen when they clone dinosaurs and the world will end and you need god in your life and thats what they said in an interview and 85% of peopl ein the owlrd belive in god so why wouldnt you believe and foo fighters think so too so iemail if you need to know anything abou tgod and foo fighters ok btye !!
In my opinion, Foo Fighters is an underrated band. They've been getting really popular now, but they should be even bigger or as big as Lady Gaga or something lol
This song, and the song 'untitled' by silverchair from the Godzilla soundtrack are two of the best songs never to actually be released on a dedicated album... This came out the summer after they released 'the colour and the shape' and year before 'learn to fly'... The colour and the shape is probably the best complete album from any group ever released... If you don't own it, buy the whole thing, must have
@jonvisser81 I can't understand why it wasn't on there is nothing left to lose? Oh and TCATS is great...but I think Wasting Light could be rivaling it.
I read in a newspaper today that this song is Dave Grohl's favourite song by the foo fighters. He mentioned that he was a little disappointed that the movie wasn't as good as people expected, so it was a bit of a let down for him when a song that he considered to be really good ended up on a soundtrack to a bad movie.

@xxfatalfngrzxx my parents got it for me when i was 8. Some great songs on there that i listen to everyday still. Ben folds, foo fighters, silverchair, wallflowers, jamiroquai. Kinda cool that the songs didnt go mainstream, its like having a little bit of treasure shared by few.
Every time I hear this song, I think of that god awful come with me song. The worst part was that JImmy Page was Like "sure puff daddy i'll let you ruin Kashmir."
"I look down... And we're going down..." The image presented in my mind, along with the guitar, tells me that the speaker's dream for flying has come true. And so has his worst fear. His plane falling out of the sky. :P Now that's one hell of a sick, wicked image! Love the disturbing guitar too. Foo Fighters, FOREVER.
mannn i used to listen to this track to and from school every day the year the soundtrack came out. just has that real melancholy vibe to it that i love....kinda like the feeling of waking up at the ass crack of dawn to catch the 6:00 bus in rain lol.
@MisterrJonezz actually youre a moron... thedude652 is right... its an old term from ww2 that they used to describe ufos... dave says it in several interviews and its part of there biography that thats where the name foo fighters come from... look it up dipshit
wow... new one for me, thought I knew a lot of foo songs but somehow missed this one. Shame, at least now I found it and can enjoy it. From what album is this? Does anyone know? specially like the long guitar piece in the middle, wish I good play like that.
@Splintermvp13 Why was the song never actually used in the movie?...this should have been the main title theme but instead they use some crap by puff daddy and busta rhymes...wtf man. This tune is my favourite by FF, no doubt! Thanks for uploading
