My brother worked at Target about the time she did this. I remember distinctly a conversation we had in which my brother told me that he was bewildered by the fact that during training to work at Target they told him that if someone comes in & uses counterfeit monies that the cashier is to do NOTHING to stop them.
That's probably a safety issue to protect the cashier (and also a huge lawsuit from the cashier's family). I guess the theory is that a counterfeiter could turn violent if a cashier confronts them.
@sweetniko1 I once worked for a small retail at my university & knew if it wasn't verified by I.D. for check/c.c. then we had to call the owner of it(assuming the student gave us that)to verify it's use. And that was just for a parent's c.c. or check for school items! I'm not sure that these worker DID notice anything suspicious, but if they did they did nothing wrong. Strange policy, huh? As far as the bank goes...you got me, I thought you ALWAYS have to verify who you are at banks.

Whether Casey is guilty or not of these crimes, how can it be right for prosecutors to release footage from CCTV before charges are laid and any court procedure. In the UK such behaviour by lawyers or prosecutors would be severely dealt with by a judge and have serious consequences for prosecutors and the trial.
Um....further on in the investigation they found out that Amy gave Casey permission while they were both high on alcohol and Meth. This is why they jury returned a not guilty verdict.......too many people had her convicted before trial and refused to see or just ignored the mistakes prosecution made. If you look at both shopping trips, at the time that the checks are being handled by the cashiers it appears that Casey is cracking her knuckles while waiting. Prob. one of very few indicators of nervousness in these tapes. If I were her mother, just watching these tapes would have been enough for me to leave her to her well-deserved fate AND to keep my mouth shut about accusing Amy. I can't imagine a mother of a recently missing/dead child being able to get out of bed, much less shopping.

It has always been my feeling that on the last day GA said he saw Caylee alive...KC 'pretended' to go to work, GA left, she came back with Caylee to grab/steal items before moving out. Caylee saw this frenzy, became upset, as any 2 y.o. would do, didn't want to leave home, grandparents, toys, puppies.... she cried, had a tantrum, Casey flew into a rage, and took her life...
