Why can't we expose our children into the concept that people are free to do what they want as long as they are not HARMING others and are willing to take responsibility for their actions! If we don't teach that to our kids, what else should we teach them!

@IranSepahbod honor killings, "nose-cuttings" and for betrayal .. are NOT family values! They are simply wrong! Specially knowing that it was always the woman who had the worst punishment, where as a man would have multiple wives or a wife and lover/lovers on the side!

i never agreed with honour killings anywhere. But we have other values and culture. laws are based on culture and values of society. For example sex with animals is legal some countries. So should we allow sex with animals in Iran? if someone says no then you will say "you're in no position to make any comment about a man raping a sheep, it's his choise".

@StarOfFreedom as far as I have heard from my Iranian female friends, they are extremely proud this! It brings out the message that female body is as much of an object as a male's body! If society is cool with men being topless, why does it frown-upon women, IF they decide to go topless!? Of course Iranian women's issue is not being unable to go outside nude, but that they are restricted to what they are able to wear!
