Had I not played such a convincing slaver and arm-grabbing, glasses-wearing weirdo, John would have had nothing to play against, and might have gone unnoticed for it, crushing his dreams of acting and theater forever. First Presbyterian Church of Joliet, Illinois had TWO stars on that "stage" that day - the one who sang (John) and the one who was unsung (me).
