@xMoreTx Haha, I've been called a lot of things, but that's definitely a first :-) Now, you mention it though........ Just a pity I've not got his money. Anybody want a Royale with cheese ;-)
@xMoreTx Phew, glad you picked up on the reference, was hoping you wouldn't just be like wtf?? Yeh, one of the best films ever made, and easily the most 'quotable' film in movie history!
@TheArt0fSilence Haha, 41 secs by any chance ;-) Was hoping nobody would notice that, but it is quite obvious. I did contemplate starting it again, but decided just to see it through. Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the comment :-)
@Xiomara727 Thanks for the compliment, glad you enjoyed it :-)
To answer your question, no I don't have 'perfect pitch'. I do have good 'relative pitch' though, something my piano teacher was quite particular about teaching. In other words, once I've worked out what key the peice of music is in, it generally doesn't take long to work out the chord structure, melody and solos.
So, I can't tell what a note is just by listening to it, but I could easily tell you the interval between 2 notes
Unfortunately, I don't have any of the two! xP My music teacher keeps trying to help me have some relative pitch but I just can't. That's fantastic! Did it take you long to have the ability to do all that??
@Xiomara727 Well, I've been playing for about 24 years, and I've gradually refined it over that time. Had about 10 years of weekly lessons though, and we used to spend about 10 mins per lesson concentrating on relative pitch. There are particular drills you can do, but it's also a skill that's strengthened by really knowing your scales and chord arpeggios.
@ventus808 Yeh, I could do. Could play it a hell of a lot faster if needed ;-) I timed this though to be the same as the original, to the exact second (2 mins 4 secs duration!)
@XoTRIPLEoX, Thanks for watching, hope you enjoyed it. Regarding a tutorial, I wouldn't really know where to start! As much as I'm decent at playing the piano, I don't think I'm any good at teaching it.
Best advice i could give is to get hold of the sheet music, then just improvise around the melody using the chord structure as a guide.
This is awesome. Would kill for a tutorial
