Okay..Well,it sound angelic to me,pleases the ears,really nice.
But there is a 'new kid on the block',who actually is able to 'replicate',and even pitches higher notes.Talking about soprano.And not even professionally trained.He is 'just a waiter'.Check him out. Awesome.

He's a male soprano. His larnyx and vocal chords did not develop during puberty due to hormonal complications. It's not a trick, nor is it anything you could replicate, unfortunately.

So happy that I stumbled onto this. His voice is pure majic. I hope to find more recordings than the Mayerbeer. This aria is so charming.

Maniacici maybe the closest singer to a true Castrato singer. Even better his vocal ability is natural and not from surgery or other methods.

He's way better than a castrato or endocrine countertenor. He's got a lot more tonal richness; those guys sounded like ringtones.

Wow. It's cause he can really sing those couluratura lines without pushing his voice. He sounds natural. It's a true gift with a voice so rare.

How can you say that when no one living has heard any of the great ones? There is only the primitive recordings of Moreschi. Maniaci uses more vibrato like a modern singer, sounding like a mezzo, in fact in places the vibrato is a little too much.

In case you have any plans to upload some more of this I would recommend the finale of Act 2, he hits a very low note there (after saving the sultan's life), it should give people better idea about his vocal range and silence those who say that he doesn't use his chest voice (check the latest comments for the 'Chi perde un momento' video).
