They say your goalie is suppose to be your best penalty killer. And, he is in 30th place this season in shootout save percentage. So as you can see when the team hasn't got ALL five players on the ice protecting him, he is a below average goalie!!! I don't know anything eh? Maybe, just maybe, you don't know ALL the facts!

Wins doesnt reflect a goalie's play... u should know that "Goalie Guru".

In his 3 regulation loses he allowed 9 goals.... in 2 of those 3 he allowed 8. If he plays like crap, the team will probally lose. Cory faces 27.6 shots per game, Luongo faces 30 shots per game. Just more stats showing Luongo has a lot to do with Canucks winning. U clearly know nothing, so stop bothering me.

Luongo has stoped 16 of 18 penalty shots i think in his career. A great goalie should come out strong when his team can't do anything about it. Luongo does that.

In a shootout, yea Luongo sucks. But their are no shootouts in the playoffs, so again... y does it matter? We all know he is great on penalty shots, and yes.. Penalty shots are in playoffs.

If Luongo is so skilled and more skilled than all the other goalies why do his stats say he is ONE OF THE WEAKEST goalies in the league when he has less help (penalty kill) or no help (shootout) of all? If he was great he would LEAD THE LEAGUE in those stats or at least be top 5 NOT 44th and 50th respectfully in those two categories.

What you are not understanding is since Luongo left the Panthers they have given up fewer goals against.

In Luogo's last year Florida they had 252 goals against. In the last three since he left 249, 223, 220! The 249 was Belfour at 40 years old and a bad back!

I was at this game and sitting right behind the net if you can believe it! As the puck was being centered and we could see Barnes wide open my girlfriend screamed so loud as if Dallas was about to score. Then all we saw was Luongo flash his glove and the puck fly into it. I went nuts along with the rest of the crowd and I looked over and my girlfriends eyes were shut as if she was still praying that it didn't go in. Hahaha I still make fun of her for that. Great game!
