After 2 and a half years Sega finally released a code to unlock free style mode! Go to options then: To unlock Free Style Mode go to options

p 1: Point Wiimote at "0" on the screen and press A with Nunchuk connected

p 3: Point Wiimote at "0" on the screen and press A with Nunchuk connected

You place the wiimote face down on top of a box. It can be any sort of surface that permits the wiimote to feel the vibrations to translate it to movement.

If you set the sensitivity high enough, you can set it on the floor and literally run/jump.

Basically, vibrations from the box go to the remote.

If you want to see it visually get the Wii remote cusor onscreen on the Wii menu with a similar setup (remember it can't be hard like stone or glass)...you'll notice the cursor shake slightly proving the Wii can dectect the movements.
