The first time I ever heard this song was when I was dating this guy and this is the first song he ever sang to me, We are now happily married and have been for going on 6 years,I still love him just as much now as I did when he sang this to me, and this song still gives me goose bumps when I hear it. I am not a religious person and I presume I will never be. A paradise seems so unreal to me. And no priest, relic or holy book brings any doubt in my mind. That been said, when I listen to this song, as I feel the hairs in my neck rise and goose bumbs cover my arms, while my throat becomes dry, my eyes get that wet look and a feeling of euphoria rises to the surface, then I must admit maybe paradise is not so unrealistic. I was fortunate 2 meet with Chris on a personal level in 1988. I was on the road crew for the band who was supporting Savatage on a tour. He was so kind hearted and emulated a humbleness that you know was Christ centered. I was sad when I first heard of his passing but in my heart I know as a born again believer I will meet him again in eternity. What about you?
