These are like some wonderful Piranha farms operated in Brazil. They throw homeless people, dogs, cats, rats etc. into the tanks. The Piranha loved it (boy can those fish get nasty if you're late with feeding!). But their real "bread and butter" was a contract with the military junta to rid them of criminals, perverts, tax cheats and political dissidents. Business is booming and they are really excited as Muslim "Sharia" law will be instituted with lots of "honor" killings coming their way!!

They will survive as long as the water temperature stays warm (50-70 degrees F) and the lake doesn't freeze during winter.

These fish have a nasty trait in that they may "walk" out of a lake and crawl into another body of water using their strong pectoral fins.

It's not my video, but to my understanding, Talapia take 6 months to be 1.5 pounds which is havesting weight. And you can raise talapia at one fish per gallon of water. And thats the method and measurements I've seen used at AquaPonic facilities.
