I never liked the FF series for multiple reasons:

1) I can never follow the storyline

2) The skills are too repetitive

3) The battle is confusing (=P)

4) No live action battles, its mostly turn based.

This is a good game, even if is different from the epic ff7 and ff8, but it does not mean the game sucks. The stupid thing is that Square-Enix look just at its pockets: why FF14 is also for PC, and FF13 don't??? Simple FF14 is online and even PC users have to pay, instead offline games would be illegally downloaded. Square is smart, but totally unfair. Anyway, the grafic is good, but nothing comparable with DX 11 grafic engine, console games runs just in DX 9, and this a stupid limit...

I remember that bloody scenes in FF7 (verry poor graphics of course, but you always get the intention) lots of people dying, Meteo destroying every planet in it's way, and there are many others awesome scenes in the past FFs. But now... there are in the opening videos (from X-2 for example) a gay show, people that don't bleed (just hold the chest, 'cause a cut just hurts inside) and at the beggining of this video, ppl actually fainting 'cause of wind... I actually liked this game. Wish people remembered Final Fantasy was a game, and not a battle system. I liked the Final Fantasy games regardless of the battle system they chose. The stories were actually good ones, and to me, the battle systems didn't hurt the game at all. Sure, there are a few things they could have done more with ALL of them, but they were good games all together. But, eh, people are critics. It just seems like the pacing for all the battles of this game are slow in comparison to the older titles. I almost enjoyed the battle system from FF12 better than this one. It just seems like they spent too much time trying to animate the battles instead of the characters actually doing any skills.

The battles just seem......half ass, I even think the battles in FF10 were faster than this lol.
