i saw jj72 at maida vale recording for the bbc...around 2003...it was really good

i remember i heard both this band and cold play at sound city 2000,and i thought both these bands will do very well,its a shame only one came through!

Great comment, JJ72 easily should've been huge. Only thing that brought them down was tehir company, everything else was set in place for huge fame

....he does have a great voice!! I saw them on their very first tour of the UK, back in 99/2000 or so at the Charlotte in Leicester, and they were awesome, so loud too!! So good I went to Derby and Northampton to see them later in the tour. top quality band!

mjd775 - yeah, saw them in Leeds at this time too. Awesome! Something weirdly satifysing about liking a band not many of your mates heard of, and that faded away. Makes you know you're ahead of the game... :-)

...bobafetting, yeah they were brilliant. Leicester was the 1st date of their first uk tour back then and I was struck as how tight they were. That 1st CD should have been massive, I listened to it constantly for months!!
