This guy had so many straw man arguments. Big government conservatives (BGC) are ok with violating the Constitution for another country's defense? If it was such a dire need to go to Korea, then Congress would've declared war, but didn't. Just because the Supemes said it's ok doesn't mean they got it right or they made a decision on exact issue. Most military people are for Ron Paul.
He walked up to them thinking that they were just a bunch of OWSers. I know he did because all the big government conservatives mix them up with RP supporters. When he got there, he was shocked to find out that they actually know their stuff. Plus, they weren't getting paid to be there. If he was truly a conservative and supported soldiers, he would've listened to the fmr marine. He couldn't swallow his pride and admit that he was wrong.
What DEFINITELY doesn't make sense is having our troops on the Korean peninsula. And in Japan. And in Germany. And everywhere else policing the world.
If North Korea decided to attack South Korea (which it won't - it's certainly not in their interest), then our troops there would be slaughtered. Not to mention they would be too concerned for their own children that they have there. If the North invaded the South, it would make sense to have all of our troops out of there. If Congress decided to declare war, we could mount an offensive mission instead of a rescue mission.

I was deeply impressed with the Ron Paul supporters. All he did was to throw worthless rethorical questions at them, that he had carefully planned in advance, and that he already knew the answers on. While the RP-supporters were totally caught offgard, had no previous experiance off media rethorics - AND THEY STILL HELD THEIR GROUND.
I think this prooves the moral justification of the Ron Paul cause.
this is fake right! did Ron Paul pay him (reporter) to look like an idiot? omg wait! this is a Pro Ron Paul add? lawl good one man! clever Dr. Ron .... vote RON PAUL! 2012!!
CONGRESS HAS TO DECLARE WAR!! THE CONGRESS REPRESENT THE PEOPLE....GREAT RON PAUL SUPPORTERS! DR. PAUL FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA--SOUND MONEY & LIBERTY!
The american people should ask themselfs one question,Why are the criminals who have destroyed there Country & americas good name so afraid of Ron Paul,The only logical answer is there terrified someone other than there cronies will win the presidency & expose them for the insane money grabbing psychopaths they are.
These people weren't obnoxious or intrusive. They were assembled down the street and were being respectful. What is wrong with that? This isn't Russia. This isn't Russia is it?
The reporter seemed like he was on some sugar rush jumping around like a squirrel and challenging the supporters for a dual on whose got more knowledge.
Also that vet there just told that guy to shut up and f off. Good stuff. These established media dinosaurs don't know how to take it. Those young people look like normal average everyday people and this guy looks like yuppie scum. They have Dunkin Donuts and he probably has a $5-$7 cup of starbucks. What an asshole. They should have beat him with those signs. The guy with glasses schooling him about the constitution. The yuppie should have taken notes.
Put a Ron Paul supporter next to any other candidate's (including obama) supporter, and I bet the Ron Paul supporter will wipe the floor with what they know. Ron Paul educates. I know more about government and economics because of him only when compared to the other canidates
These kids kicked this guy like a tin can. He blabbed and tried to pontificate with questions to them about defying the Constitution and why they don't think it's okay to do it. Breitbart is such a disappointment. Why did HE get the Weiner story. Oh yeah, he likes Weener.
And no, they weren't gotcha questions. These guys need to understand Ron Paul points and ideas clearly so they can express them and make these type of folks look like fools.
Seriously, this guy doesn't even seem to know we lost the Korean War, and things have only gotten much worse between North and South, while Vietnam was lost and abandoned to the Communists, and now is a thriving capitalist country. Capitalism prevails in the end, as seen in every attempt at long term Communism.
No, congress should not be able to put money aside for a war that was not declared. That ends up in political wars, where money is poured in and withheld depending on whether the war is popular at the time.
Should we have killed Bin Laden? Yes, back in 2003. Should we have put that on hold for a 10 year detour in Iraq spreading democracy and winning hearts and minds of a country that originally had no al qaeda, not taliban, now WMDs, no Iraqis involved in 9/11, no terrorist camps, a dictator that was enemies with Bin Laden, etc? No. We should have hunted down Bin Laden with the Letter of Marque and Reprisal amendment in the Constitution used to kill barbary pirates, like Ron Paul pushed.
I don't think these guys did Ron Paul's views justice, but it is nice to see dedicated supporters. Korea, no we should not have been there. We lost that war, just like Vietnam. South Vietnam was taken over the the communists after we lost and left, and now the country is a thriving capitalist country. The same would have happened with Korea because capitalism is the end result when other naive systems break down. Vietnam, Soviet Union, and even China and Cuba have become more capitalist.
So this is a great video the RINOs from Breitbart don't uphold the constitution but the Ron Paul supporters do. These young kids make this professional interviewer look like a real dumb schmuck They turned this jerks agenda to make them look bad right around on him. I'll bet money we won't see this video on Breitbarts appropriately named Big Government website.
Outstanding. Ron Paul supporters are better informed and more intelligent than the so called professional journalist. There is an intellectual revolution going on. People are getting informed on the facts which helps Dr Paul. Informed voters do not help the other candidates which is why I guess the others never actually say anything informative
TO all ron paul supporters, the best way for us to fight the media is to know ahead of time the ridiculous questions they're going to ask us, and equally important is to be knowledgeable about Ron Paul's positions and logic behind them. It's not an easy task, but its an important one in the fight against media biased. It is easy to sense Ron Paul is sincere and telling the truth, but we have to be able to make sure we can back it up when we're out in public, getting hounded by guys like this..
According to the FBI most wanted list Usama Bin Laden was not wanted for the attacks of 911. He was wanted for the Kenya bombing and "other" terrorist attacks. One would think the government would put 911 at the top of the list but it was never even mentioned on their web site.
Their there because they have the constitutional right to be there. Hamg out with some of these guys for awhile and listen insted of trying to put words in their mouths and you might just learn something. It's hard to keep spouting all these political correct ideas that you've been fed when your confronted with the TRUTH.
I lived in South Korea. If it weren't for other nations supporting North Korea with aid, they would have collapsed prior to now. The South wants to rejoin with the North because they are "One People." South Korea is the 11th largest economy in the world. They would do fine against the North at this point.
not to mention the north koreans have the sort of economy they do have due to various historical factors (DPRK is mainly industrial inherited from Japanese, the Korean war never ended resulting in the paranoia DPRK has, etc). So yes, united korea under DPRK would be better. Given how Vietnam recovered and developed when there was no such opposing forces nearby (minus the chinese)
@VictorR8DR lol "Its okay America we dumped Osama Bin Ladens body in the ocean in accordance with Muslim burial rituals" yes burial rituals which state one must be BURIED facing Mecca, something entirely possible when ya know ya huck a corpse in the fucking ocean. Fuck yeah Ammurika!
Intelligent people who think for themselves choose Ron Paul. Just try having an informed political discussion like this with supporters for any other candidate, Repub or Dem. I rest my case.
@PistolPackingPatriot And supporters of other candidates who can think for themselves and have intelligent discussions on the matters eventually turn to Ron Paul.
Guy talking at 4:35 reminds me so much of Jon Huntsman. The way he talks (how he starts and stops, etc.) and kind of the way he looks. Just thought that was funny.
I am always amazed that the media believes us Ron Paul supporters are supposed to be uninformed idiots. Especially since we think for ourselves, study the issues and that's why we support Dr. Paul. I mean the must get extremely frustrated with logic and reason. We are not brainwashed. So why talk to us like we are?
thanks needs to go out to this so called reporter for helping to put more real info out there.and for showing just how low and stupid he is for trying to trip youngsters up using a history lesson, but he wasnt actually ready for what he got back...fucking scumbag.
Well the questions were asked in absolutes & loaded questions, which is logical fallacies in Rhetoric. So I liked how they were able to debate and debunk the questions with giving context to the underlying issues.
If you don't know what I'm talking about look up logical fallacies list, and realize the best way to disarm biases or propaganda is to identify it, describe your views after without the bias and move on.
Ron Paul haters are typically media sycophants that are susceptible to following ad populum. If you think it's a bad idea to adhere to America's constitution, which is almost solely responsible for making America shine and rein supreme over every other country, then you do not deserve to live here. Since it's obvious you don't appreciate freedom/civil liberties, why not move to Britain? Someone who doesn't know what personal and economic freedom feels like would be at home there
@durrrrhurrrrrr get a grip clueless. Oh sorry you are right. No need to research just listen to the mainstream media and the weak bought and paid for pundits. The banksters and military industrial complex would never lie to us or deceive us.
@durrrrhurrrrrr what they do know is america is going down the pan with a possible major war ahead of them all being paid for by the ppl without their consent..plus young or old, black or white, rich or poor, the truth, liberty and freedom has no limits or constraints to whom are trying to achieve them...so go and ask the same questions to any other supporters of any other politician and see if you get any info out of them about world affairs..
1. they're not being rowdy or disruptive, but soliciting votes old school style ! 2. Communism fell faster due to its own inadequacy/demise, more then our interference. 3. the president swears to defend and follow the constitution ! And its a pretty clear document. 4. this interviewer states his hypothetical views, then asks a trailer question.
These young guys were awesome. Great answers. Obviously these guys have logically thought out all the issues and what they believe in.
In the USA everyone has the right to his opinion. When the oposition resorts to attempted ridicule, it is obvious they cannot logically win the argument and they have no choice but to try and demean the people they are debating ideas with.
