The thing is that you don't buy a car like this as your only sports car, but maybe your second or third sports car. It's not like you in the dealership thinking Is it gonna be the Carrera GT or the smart??

Only 10 of them were produced for the Solitude racetrack's anniversary (that explain the price bill).

8 of them were simply crushed by mercedes to be sure not to see them on the road.

The last 2 remaining are one for the mercedes collection and the other for the brabus collection.

And Brabus put it on the track few times a year to allow smartcar fans to have a chance to take a ride (on the passenger seat) in it.

Maybe one of the most desireable roadster.

yeah it's a corporate thing most of that money would be based purely on the badge, it's like if you get 2 cars the same but one has a genuine GT badge it'll probably be about $10,000 more expensive, depending on the car. and this car actually has more to show than just the badge so it'll cost more still. also it's probably hand made wich doesn't help. all that aside, it's just a turbed smart car, why would you evan bother?

I know eh? Firstly, this is a new model for the show I presume, so the original price is always high.

Also, its by BRABUS. That alone cost money.

I dont think it stops at two engines though. Its twin turboed, and has very expensive equipment in it. Its no ordinary smart car... its the fastest smart car ever made.
