i recomend the 2010 model Epiphone G-400 62 SG.

PRO QUALITY/HIGHEND ELECTRONICS ALL THE WAY! craftmanship

is most certainly a A+. the best part is Gibson USA will tell you the same thing.

Gibson USA will also tell you this SG is way under priced.

the 2010 models most certainly compete with the Gibson standard SG'S

and better than the Gibson faded SG'S. give Gibson USA a call i did and they

basicaly told me the same thing what i have just said here.

Try to measure fretboard scale on G400, you'll discover something interesting.

Epiphone are good guitars but quality control doesn't exist on them.

i think mainly the looks (no binding no trapezoid inlays, no chrome covers) and of course the bridge pickup which has a little less output on the Special (/but trust it is still enough!
