Cuomo, the AG of New York has already taken action to get AIG to explain the bonuses, the contracts that mandate them, the terms and the performance requisites for execs to earn them. That/those explanations are due to Cuomo by 4:00 p.m., today (3/16), or subpeonas are to follow. Obama's minions could do the same... and may be, as we comment.

We made a mistake. Time to admit that and take the money back. We gave money to AIG (crooks) and now we know it was wrong. It did not save jobs or fix anything. At least AIG is making it easy to figure out what they did wrong. Fire them and let them go free. Congress cancelled regulation that allowed them to be crooks. Their crimes were made legal. Congress and senate needs to be voted out.
When I first heard about the bonuses I was outraged but also resigned. The fact that they said it was the law and that they would sue if the bonuses weren't paid showed that they had seen this through to the end, con artists that they were. To see Obama step in was a surprise. This is the first time the government takes the side of the people instead of whoever has the biggest gun and the better lawyers. Thank you Mr. President. Cuomo, the AG of New York has already taken action to get AIG to explain the bonuses, the contracts that mandate them, the terms and the performance requisites for execs to earn them. That/those explanations are due to Cuomo by 4:00 p.m., today (3/16), or subpeonas are to follow. Obama's minions could do the same... and may be, as we comment.
That might not stop the bonuses, but it would make the AIG board, "assume the position."

We made a mistake. Time to admit that and take the money back. We gave money to AIG (crooks) and now we know it was wrong. It did not save jobs or fix anything. At least AIG is making it easy to figure out what they did wrong. Fire them and let them go free. Congress cancelled regulation that allowed them to be crooks. Their crimes were made legal. Congress and senate needs to be voted out.

When I first heard about the bonuses I was outraged but also resigned. The fact that they said it was the law and that they would sue if the bonuses weren't paid showed that they had seen this through to the end, con artists that they were. To see Obama step in was a surprise. This is the first time the government takes the side of the people instead of whoever has the biggest gun and the better lawyers. Thank you Mr. President. Even if he doesn't succeed I'm still proud of him.
