But to be fair, Anggun, although now a successful professional singer, should still be considered for Eurovision participation, since countries like Sweden and Greece sent Carola and Anna Vissi respectively in recent years, even though they're already major superstars in their respective countries. So I don't see why Anggun is too important for Eurovision.

I don't live in Europe, but I do follow the contest since 2000. I'm a fan of the contest, and I've watched lots of the pre-2000 contests as well. Yes, it has been a "Balkan Festival" lately, but I don't see why that's wrong, really. So you're saying that the results are fixed? Well, I don't know about that, but in my humble opinion, it's all about promotion of the artists long BEFORE the contest itself. Whoever has the best promotion across Europe is the victor.

They asked her if she met the Pope and she said unfortunately, he wasnt there because during that time he was very sick...then they talked more about Catholics, the pope, and how the Vatican was. and the interviewer pretended to talk to the Pope towards the end of the interview and watched him dance
