Great job, yeah it was nice without the blur effect but it still looks good especially with a pic taken with a cell phone camera.

it was awesome before it got all blurry. i've been looking at a lot of these and for some reason blurry means good?

Nah..

U can duplicate a layer, blur it.. and drop the opacity or change the blending mode to soft light... it gives a sort of glow to the image... u also should mask the eyes abit or nose and mouth... areas with detail...

I went abit overboard with it...and did not mask the eyes correctly... but u learn as u go along..

you got a good feeling for lights and shadows and color and reflection. deep respect, man. not exactly my style, cause you got really ugly original pictures and it´s hard to keep the image at life. but again: much respect for your work and skills! 5 Stars.

btw: take a look at my vid. some others may come. and when i got the time, i´m going to make some ps-tuts too. but mainly focused on masking/selektion and layer-usage/adjustment-layers (which i hardly miss in the tutorials in here). any suggestion about a screen-capture prog? until then, dear colleague!

Good work. I think in the end you maybe made it a little too blurry, and your lips a tad too hot pink. However, the use of shadow was well done, and about halfway through the video, I think you had a very nice touch up.

Yeah, that blur at the end.... need to fix that I guess.

It had another blured layer with low opacity to create some glow... but I went overboard with it :) Thanks for your comment.
