@MrOldeastdallas Possibly but looking at the build your own part of it on Chevy's website, says Vortec 5.3L V8 SFI FlexFuel Engine is standard in the LTZ model.

I test drove an 07 2WD similar to this, the A/C didn't work and the Information center was giving me some pretty impressive numbers to be believable, 4litre/100km going 60kmph down a gravel road.

I love that car. It's a very nice truck, I'd love to drive something like this. But unfortunately the gasoline is just to expensive around here for that + I haven't got the money to afford it :(

I would buy that one If I'd live in USA :)

I have a 2011 Chevrolet LT2 packaged Z71 and its awesome! We ordered a special package which included chrome accents,raised suspension, and Gibson aftermarket exhaust! The trucks great for hauling trailers and really good off-road. Excellent trucks thats all I have to say. If you go with the LTZ you might want to raise it to have the off-road capability.

i dont like this avalanche,,,

tthree reasons,,,

1 - dont have 2 amber yellow lights on the rear taillights for turning sign and parking emergency,,,

2 - too small white backup lights,,,

3 - front bumper is a block and not enough getting cooler air go through to the radioator for help cool motor,,,

nice truck. i have the 2002 AV Z66 pkge. (would prefer Z71 but... after 2 months couldnt find any) for my first truck its pretty good. (next WILL b Z71 AV) just one question, how do i restore the plastic trim color? the faded gray jus makes it look 2 worn out.

not a gas hog, it has active fuel management which cuts 4 cyl when your cruising and its flex fuel which means cheaper e85.

Sorry to tell you this... But E85 is a gimic... It gets less mileage than full gas... you get less overall miles per dollar than with regular old 87 Octane
